research for the original film
The intended target fort the original film which is The Lion King would have been all ages because it is a film that both is a happy animated movie for children but also it pulls at the heartstrings of adults as they are able to understand the real meaning of the movie. However it is classified as a Children’s animated movie so I will have to say the movie is aimed at children between the ages of 2-12.
The movie is, although quite comedic, more of a coming of age story as it is about a young lion cub who’s dad was the leader of a land called pride rock before being killed. the cub was banished as he was falsely blamed by his evil uncle of killing his father so from that he learns from two stray animals that he needs to not worry about life and remember that there is always time to change your life and make it better and he finally begins to forget about the old childish habits and thoughts on the world that he once had and finally when he returns to pride rock he is able to remember all the wrong his uncle had done to him and all the pain that his uncle had caused to his family and dethrones his uncle and finally takes back what, in his birth right, is his.
